Since April 19th, 2010, all those wishing to apply for a Schengen short stay visa at the French Embassy have to book an appointment on the Embassy website (www.ambafrance-om.org). Each individual applicant needs one appointment. Visa applicants coming to the Embassy without an appointment will not be accepted.
This procedure aims to improve the quality of service in the visa section and more particularly to reduce the waiting time of each applicant. To further this aim, each applicant will have to arrive on time for their appointment and with a complete file. The application form and the list of required documents can be found online on the Embassy website.
The online appointment service will require to use a version of Adobe acrobat reader v5 or above to print the receipt and an updated navigator as Internet Explorer v6 or above with service pack 2 or Firefox v1 or above. You will need to allow POP-UP.
